European Youth Week takes place every two years and is the pinnacle of European gatherings for young people and the youth sector in Europe. Throughout the week over 1,000 grassroots activities take place across Europe, organised by Erasmus National Agencies including Léargas.
In 2019 European Youth Week took place just before the European elections and explored the ways in which young people can influence decisions and engage meaningfully in all parts of the democratic process.
European Youth Week also brought together young people, youth workers, volunteers, youth organisations and policy-makers to a European event hosted in Brussels, 29-30 April 2019.
In 2019 Léargas offered Irish youth organisations a chance to receive €300 to host an event! Scroll down to find out more.
